Ambient Jazz Ensemble - The Journey (Leftside Wobble 'Garden of Earthly Delights' Remix)
Just sit back and let this one slowly envelop you. From the gentle piano led intro, it builds to a rousing crescendo with the finest horn section you'll have heard in quite some time. Can't wait to play this one at sunset on the Beach Stage at The Garden Festival in a few weeks time. ;)
Due for release in the coming months.

Kan Sano - Everybody Loves The Sunshine (Leftside Wobble Slow Jam) Free Download
With all this rotten weather we've been having I thought we could all do with some free sunshine. If you like the track enough to download, spread the sunshine by giving it a like and reposting on SoundCloud.
Cheers. x

James Johnston - Consumer EP
Morning all. Something super deep to ease you into your day. James Johnston yet again defying categorisation with a track that reminds of the the sort of stuff Ian O'Brien & Russ Gabriel used to put out. Jazz tinged, Detroit influenced deep house music of a very high quality. Very limited numbers on this vinyl only release so head on over to Juno - http://www.juno.co.uk/ppps/products/483710-01.htm

Esther Philips - All The Way Down (Leftside Wobble KGS Rework)
One of the first edits I put out on vinyl is being given a digital release by Kojak Giant Sounds in the coming weeks so I took the chance to reinterpret my original edit and give it a dirty, bumping new coat of paint.
Completely restructured the percussion and fuzzed up the bass to create a version that works just as well on house floors as well as funk fuelled disco ones. Definitely on tonights set list at Eclectic Discotech in Brighton.

Watcha Clan - Les Hommes Libres
Happened across this on SoundCloud the other day and reminded myself how much I love this band. If you don't own 'Diaspora HiFi' their 2008 album, mend your errant ways!

Medar - Can't Stop (Creative Swing Alliance Mix)
Yet another killer EP from the Wolf stable. Whilst I'm sure the world will gravitate towards Biceps Frankie Bones style jam it's the raw jazzy deepness of Medlars 'Can't Stop' that will stay the course for me.

St Germain - Rose Rouge (Leftside Wobble Bump & Hustle Edit)
A personal edit that I'm releasing to celebrate the 6th Birthday of Big In Japan this month: http://tinyurl.com/bnsnc93 (with a party featuring the legendary Daniel Wang and disco don Ray Mang).
This ones all about the rhythm track overdubs and subtle filtering. Sometimes an edit needs a very light touch and with a track so perfect this is certainly the case here.

Peter Kruder - Pink Floyd mix
Just what you need to ease yourself into the week. Peter Kuder (of Kruder & Dorfmeister fame) blends his favourite blissed out Pink Floyd moments for just over an hour of horizontal heaven. Enjoy, this ones rather special. x

Dr John & The Night Trippers - I Walk On Gilded Splinters
The third edit in the '12 edits of Xmas' series takes a step away from the dance floor and into outer space! Highly recommended for post club listening on the car journey home whilst the chemical influences are still flowing through the veins... :)
And the obligatory gig listings spam for the Xmas and NY period. :)

Gil Scott-Heron - Space Shuttle (Leftside Wobble Edit)
It was great to witness the outpouring of love and respect for Gil Scott-Heron over the weekend.
A true innovator and inspiration to so many, I wanted something to play out over the weekend and came across this forgotten classic whilst digging through the collection.
Even though it has very little to do with Gil Scott-Herons usual production style being a house track (produced by Paul Waller) built on a selection of samples from classic records including Mr Fingers 'Can You Feel It', 808 State's "Pacific State' and vocal snippets from First Choice's "Let No Man Put Asunder', there's a rawness to the production that's totally fitting to Gil Scott-Herons apocalyptic tale.

Richard Earnshaw - Cry Me A River (Leftside Wobble Mix)
Earlier this year Richard Earnshaw released a critically acclaimed album which has been compared by many to the classic Nuyorican Soul album from the mid nineties. The album sees Richard pull in a team of heavyweight musicians and vocalists including major stars – Jocelyn Brown, Carleen Anderson, Roy Ayers, Ursula Rucker and Kenny Thomas, as well as hand picked newcomers and previous collaborators, Nina Jayne (BMG); Imogen Ryall (One51); Natasha Young (Pure Liberty) and Eric Dillard (Nuwavonic).
This first Leftside Wobble remix from the album is a mellow jazz tinged disco affair - perfect for those deeper more laid back dance floor moments.
Due out towards the end of November.
