Groovement Soul

Really fantastic mix from Keith Dalton of Dublin's Groovement Soul collective. A deep, funk fueled, soulful selection to get you ready for the weekends escapades.

And talking of Groovement Soul here's a rare live mix of me recorded at their ace loft party back in Sept 2012.

Jolly Mare - Have Visions EP

One of those rare edit EP's that's filled with originality and guarantees a bountiful boogie quotient on the dance floor (all tracks are great but it's the final one Keep On Tach that shakes my bones the most). Available on vinyl via Juno right now.

Bufi & La Royale - Paris

Love this so much. Best Electrique Music release so far...

Richard Earnshaw - Cry Me A River (Leftside Wobble Mix)

Earlier this year Richard Earnshaw released a critically acclaimed album which has been compared by many to the classic Nuyorican Soul album from the mid nineties. The album sees Richard pull in a team of heavyweight musicians and vocalists including major stars – Jocelyn Brown, Carleen Anderson, Roy Ayers, Ursula Rucker and Kenny Thomas, as well as hand picked newcomers and previous collaborators, Nina Jayne (BMG); Imogen Ryall (One51); Natasha Young (Pure Liberty) and Eric Dillard (Nuwavonic).

This first Leftside Wobble remix from the album is a mellow jazz tinged disco affair - perfect for those deeper more laid back dance floor moments.

Due out towards the end of November.

Grapevine Boogie

Basaed on an eighties proto house/electro boogie track - You're All Played Out by L.I.F.E. ; this started out as an exercise in (kings of the edit) Latin Rascals edit techniques, took a trip to Detroit for some Motown love and has ended up in a bizarre electric Balearic discothèque!

Hopefully due on vinyl sometime soon.
