Vikter Puff's on Acid (Leftside Wobble's Acid Soul Rub)
Put this together for the fine folk of Sancho Panza who have one of their legendary boat parties this Saturday night - www.sanchopanza.org/
I unfortunately can't make it, so this little booty beauty will at least mean I can be there in spirit if not person. ;)

Leftside Wobble - Acid Tearz (Acid Soul Rub)
This unapologetic ode to that raw Chicago acid house sound has long been a secret weapon in my sets so I thought the time was right with the launch of my Acid Soul night in London to make it available as a free download. ;)
Get it here - d.pr/TMUN
Enjoy. x

Groovement Soul
Really fantastic mix from Keith Dalton of Dublin's Groovement Soul collective. A deep, funk fueled, soulful selection to get you ready for the weekends escapades.
And talking of Groovement Soul here's a rare live mix of me recorded at their ace loft party back in Sept 2012.

Acid Soul 11
The first instalment of Acid Soul for 2014. As ever it's not just about the new but features a few of my favourite tracks from 2013 (with a couple of guilty pleasures thrown in for good measure too). Download the 320k via SoundCloud and get the timecoded playlist via Mixcloud - this is the first mix I've uploaded to Mixcloud so follow me over there too if you fancy!

Carrot Green - Home or Abroad (Leftside Wobble Remix)
The folk behind the hugely popular Chopshop imprint have a new label launching this Autumn called Our Records and they got me onboard to remix a track from one of their signings - Carrot Green. Heavily influenced by my love of Kerri Chandler & Larry Heard productions this takes the deep jazzy vibe of the original and couples it with a heavy duty dub bassline and heavily filtered chord progressions.
Late night deep disco shenanigans...

A Guy Called Gerald - Specific Hate
And talking of Manchester. I noticed that you can grab hold of this A Guy Called Gerald gem from 1989 for peanuts via Discogs second hand sellers http://tinyurl.com/owjvbx3. This was on the flip side of Gerald's first major label release and is a reworking of 808 States 'Pacific State', a track Gerald co-wrote (without credit) so he made this version to let the world know exactly what he thought of his former bandmates!
Played by a diverse set of DJ's at the time including Weatherall, Sasha, Grooverider & Laurent Garnier it still sounds great today.

The Bank - Lagos Tahoe (Leftside Wobble Mix) Preview - available now at Juno, Beatport, What People Play etc
Stevie Kotey (Bear Funk's head honcho) can always be relied upon to sign great leftfield dance music that pays no heed to current trends or fashions but that has lasting impact. The Bank are just such a signing, so I'm overjoyed at being part of such a great package. Other mixes come from disco legend Al Kent, Italian cosmic warriors The Mushroom Project and the bands own Frank Agrario. Buy the whole package as there's not a duff mix included.

Leftside Wobble - Berlin Nights
Kraftwerkian percussion meets Jamaican dub bass & sumptuous disco strings for a deep house workout heavily influenced by my trips to Berlin. Probably going to stick this on the flip side of 'Need Your Love' when it's released later this year on one of my favourite Berlin based record labels 'Dirt Crew Recordings'.

Esther Philips - All The Way Down (Leftside Wobble KGS Rework)
One of the first edits I put out on vinyl is being given a digital release by Kojak Giant Sounds in the coming weeks so I took the chance to reinterpret my original edit and give it a dirty, bumping new coat of paint.
Completely restructured the percussion and fuzzed up the bass to create a version that works just as well on house floors as well as funk fuelled disco ones. Definitely on tonights set list at Eclectic Discotech in Brighton.

James Johnston - What You Do To me
I'm getting fed up with the current trend for making everything sound like it was produced in the early nineties in New Jersey but this James Johnston release is a pick above the vast majority of the lazy copycat stuff.
