Deviant Rhythms part 1

With less than a month to go until the Trees For Cities summer boat party I thought I'd put together a peak time mix giving a taster of the sort of music on offer (by the way, there's less than 40 tickets left so if you thinking of coming, be quick!). While still disco in influence, it's a more uptempo and twisted variety than the Dub Disco Deli stuff, perfect for a deviant summertime boogie down the Thames.

Twiggy Disco

For the last 16 years or so I've been a resident DJ at the Trees for Cities parties. Not only a lovely cause to be involved with but over the years their parties have been some of the most spectacular (and for that matter messy) I've had the pleasure to attend.

At the moment we're plotting the next event, but as a taster to the kind of music on offer, this weeks mix is a 4 hour set I put together a couple of years ago for their Xmas shindig.

Also, if your around over the next few weeks, I'm starting a Sunday evening wind down session that rotates around a selection of London's finest boozers.

Following on from last week, the second instalment of Dub Disco Deli starts of with an amazing cover of an 80's classic by The Passions and finishes with an absolute cracker from Crazy P.

It's still a dubby affair but ups the tempo for some peak time dance floor shenanigans.
