Marley - Root Down

I recorded this mix 2 years ago to celebrate Notting Hill Carnival (it also happens to be the first ever mix I put out under the Leftside Wobble name). At the time it was only made available as a low bit rate file so this is the first time it's been available at 320k. It's a full on Marley version excursion, hope you enjoy.

Leftside Wobble - On & On

Leftside Wobble meets Mach for a re-spin of what is supposedly the first ever house record! Jessie Saunders got the credit but the original came out on a limited white label pressing in 1980 (only 500 copies) and is apparently by a Cuban DJ from Miami... Whatever the true story, the key samples come from Playback - Space Invaders (Bassline) & Donna Summer - Bad Girls (Acapella).

I've linked to the original as a YouTube video).

Ashford & Simpson - Don't Cost You Nothing (Leftside Wobble Edit)

Leftside Wobble edit of Ashford & Simpson's 1977 track Don't Cost You Nothing which rearranges Jimmy Simpsons original 12" mix with an added sprinkling of dubbed up loveliness.

As ever, hope you enjoy...

Dub Disco Deli Part 8

Featuring a selection of tracks that have been big on the Leftside Wobble dancefloor this Summer (including the recent Tree's boat party and the afters session with the Delirium boy's at Dex in Brixton), this is my favourite Dub Disco Deli of the series so far. Featuring some disco classics, a few favourite new edits and a couple deep house groovers it's a mix guaranteed to tickle the hips.

Esther Phillips - All The Way Down (Leftside Wobble Edit)

Originally featured on the 1976 Kudo release Capricorn Princess, All The Way Down is low-down slice of mid seventies bluesy funk which I've always thought could do with a touch more disco production love.

Hope you like...
